Cincinnati at Houston
The Texans went from best team in the AFC to losing three of
their final four games and playing in the Wild Card round. The Bengals have won
three in a row to end the season. This is a rematch from last season and the
Texans took care of business last year. It won’t be easy this time around but
Houston has been more dangerous on offense this season, thanks to running back
Arian Foster. A lot of talk all year has
had the Texans looking Super Bowl-bound. This should be the first step to
getting back on track.
Texans win.
Indianapolis at Baltimore
Ray Lewis has announced this will be his final go at the
Lombardi Trophy. He’s been a very motivational player for the team over the
years and one has to imagine that his teammates will be extra motivated to get
the linebacker another ring.
Ravens win.
Seattle at Washington
The Seahawks only won three games on the road this season
but now when I think “Seahawks” and “playoffs” I think of Marshawn Lynch’s 67yard run against the Saints in the playoffs two years ago. Both teams are good
at running the ball and both are good at stopping the run on defense but
Seattle’s pass defense and secondary has played much better than Washington’s.
They’ll put a good amount of pressure on RG3 and will be the difference maker
in this game.
Seahawks win.
Minnesota at Green Bay
Adrian Peterson has torched the Packers this season, running
for 409 yards and two touchdowns in two games this season. But Aaron Rodgers
has also done extremely well against the Vikings, going 55-75 for 651 yards
and five touchdowns while only throwing
one interception. The packers won the meeting between the two teams at home in
the regular season and are in good position to win at home again.
Packers win.
